About Norseman Wind
Norseman is a large-scale offshore wind project working towards creating jobs onshore and supplying Norway with more power. They are working to establish a diverse consortium aiming to develop the offshore wind park in the Southern North Sea II. The consortium will apply for a concession in the Southern North Sea II to construct and operate fixed offshore wind with a capacity of 1400 MW over 400 km2.

With an estimated 30-35 billion NOK budget for developing the Southern North Sea II, Norseman has set an ambitious goal that at least 50% of this should be contracts awarded to the Norwegian supplier industry. This initiative significantly boosts the Norwegian offshore wind industry and creates the foundation for decades of potential export opportunities.

Harald Dirdal is the CEO of Norseman Wind and has over eight years of experience in wind energy project development, both onshore and offshore. With his extensive experience from Scandinavia, the USA, and the Middle East, he has been central in the development of wind projects that together exceed 2,500 MW. Dirdal is responsible for stakeholder management at various levels - local, regional, and national - for Norseman Wind AS. Additionally, he leads the company's work with political strategy development and lobbying.

About EnBW
The German energy company EnBW, which is part of the consortium, will, with its significant experience in offshore wind in several countries, contribute with important expertise to developing offshore wind in the Norwegian part of the North Sea.
